Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Ilham Aliyev met in Turkmenbashy

National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in the city of Turkmenbashy. This was reported by the press service of the head of Azerbaijan.

Before the start of the talks, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the President of Azerbaijan took a joint photo.

As reported earlier, Ilham Aliyev arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit at the invitation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

Today, a trilateral summit with the participation of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan will be held in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone. The agenda includes issues of developing and deepening multilateral cooperation in the trade and economic, transport and communications, energy and humanitarian spheres.

A number of joint documents are planned to be signed following the summit.
