Centralized Laboratory of the Directorate of Infectious Diseases Centers
The Centralized laboratory is one of the centers of the Directorate of Infectious Diseases Centers. The Centralized laboratory was opened on September 1, 2010 with the blessing of our esteemed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov. The Centralized laboratory consists of three floors and, as one of the centers of the Directorate of Infectious Diseases Centers , includes several departments: general scientific and methodological, scientific and clinical, biochemical diagnostics, serological, immunological, flow cytometry, molecular genetic, bacteriological, department of tuberculosis bacteriology with a reference laboratory. Each department, in accordance with its diagnostic direction, conducts a complex of modern research.
General department: carries out work on the reception of biological samples from citizens who applied for various laboratory tests and the issuance of their results.
General Clinical Department: Complete general blood test, blood test for malaria, blood clotting test, general urine test, urine test according to the Nechiporenko method, general feces analysis, feces analysis for helminth eggs, protozoa, rapid research for rotavirus infection, general analysis pleural fluid, cerebrospinal fluid.
Department of Biochemical Diagnostics: From a biochemical blood test: blood glucose, urea, creatinine, bilirubin and their fractions, alanine aminotransferase (ALAT), aspartate aminotransferase (ASAT), gamma glutamine transferase (GGT), alkaline phosphatase, total protein, albumin; cholesterol of their fractions: high-density cholesterol, low-density cholesterol, triglycerides, α-amylase, uric acid, magnesium (Mg), phosphorus, iron (Fe), calcium (Ca+), potassium (K+), sodium (Na+), chlorine (Cl-). Studies of the blood coagulation system: prothrombin, prothrombin time, prothrombin index, INR, fibrinogen, D-dimer. From latex tests: C-reactive protein, antistreptolysin-O, rheumatoid factor. Determination of the amount of glycated hemoglobin in blood.
Immunological department: Markers of viral hepatitis A, B, C, D, E markers of autoimmune hepatitis, markers of the Epstein-Barr virus, thyroid hormones, sex hormones, insulin, C-peptide, for latent viral infections: cytomegalovirus (CMV), herpes virus (HSV), toxoplasma, chlamydia, ureaplasma, mycoplasma, determination of antibodies to lamblia, ascaris echinococcus, determination of antibodies to brucellosis, fibro-test (hyaluronic acid, collagen, procollagen, laminin), determination of antibodies to tuberculosis, vit B12, vit D, ferritin, folic acid, immunoglobulin E (IgE), D-dimer.
Serological department: serological tests for brucellosis according to Wright-Heddelson.
Molecular Genetic Department: In this department, qualitative and quantitative analysis is carried out for viral hepatitis B, C, D at the molecular level, genotyping of hepatitis C, determination of highly carcinogenic human papillomavirus, detection of Sars-Cov-2 RNA, from latent infections - PCR (Polymerase chain reaction) for ureoplasm, mycoplasma, chlamydia, gonorrhea, cytomegalovirus, herpes.
The bacteriological department is equipped with automatic equipment that meets international standards: VITEC-2 Compact is used to determine the causative agents of infectious diseases and antibiotic sensitivity; BacT / ALERT 3D is used to determine the sterility of biological fluids. Bacteriological examination: causative agents of infectious diseases in biological fluids of the human body (in blood, in cerebrospinal fluid, in breast milk, pus, feces, in urine, in vaginal secretions, in nasal secretions in saliva and other biological samples): enterobacteriaceae, Salmonella typhi, Shigella, Neisseria meningitides, Corinebacterium diphtheria and fungi of various species. Enterobacteriaceae, intestinal microbiocenosis , genitals discharge , ureaplasma, trichomoniasis, mycoplasma are determined by bacteriological inoculation of feces. Detection by bacteriological analyzes of pathogens for sensitivity to 12-20 types of antibiotics, automated and diskodiffuse method.
Department of Tuberculosis Bacteriology with Reference Laboratory: The equipment installed in the offices of the centralized Gene-Expert laboratory, the HAIN-test system with PSR analysis, the MGIT-960 apparatus for diagnosing tuberculosis are able to quickly identify the causative agent of tuberculosis at the bacteriological, molecular genetic level, all conditions have been created to determine resistance to 1-2 -3 rows of anti-tuberculosis drugs.
