Magazine «Türkmenistanyň lukmançylygy»
Magazine «Türkmenistanyň lukmançylygy» — is a scientific and practical publication founded by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, which publishes materials on the results of the implementation of the State Program «Saglyk», achievements of national health. A variety of research, review and other articles in various fields of medicine, research results are published in this magazine. The magazine is included in the list of scientific magazines recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan for publication of main scientific results of dissertations for degree of doctor and candidate of sciences. The magazine is intended for practitioners, researchers, health care specialists, teachers and students of medical universities.
The magazine was founded in 1934 and was called «Health care of Turkmenistan». In 2002, the magazine was renamed «Türkmenistanyň lukmançylygy». Since that time, it has been published in a modern design, in three languages — Turkmen, Russian, English. The frequency is six issues per year. The magazine is distributed by subscription through the service «Türkmenpoçta», and is also posted on the website of the Turkmen State Publishing Service «metbugat.gov.tm».
The main objectives of the magazine are to inform about theoretical and scientific substantiation of measures aimed at improving health of the population, the activities of the health care system, the publication of information on the positive experience of medical institutions, the introduction of modern technologies, the presentation of data on the health status of certain categories of the population, the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the regions of the country. On the pages of the publication, materials of leading scientists, specialists, practitioners of clinics of Turkmenistan and foreign countries are presented, international scientific conferences, exhibitions, forums are covered.
The main headings of the magazine are: «Health care reform», «Health care organization», «Theoretical and clinical medicine», «For a general practitioner aid», «Lectures and reviews», «Case study», «Pharmacy and pharmacology».
In the headings of the magazine «Health care reform», «Health care organization», leadership of health care system pays attention to the implementation of state and national programs, the provision of high-quality medical care to the population.
A lot of interesting information about scientific works, achievements, new methodologies introduced into clinical practice can be found under the headings «For a general practitioner aid» and «Theoretical and clinical medicine».
The heading «Pharmacy and pharmacology» publishes scientific works devoted to the development of pharmacology, new innovative medicines and medicinal products, materials from the encyclopedic work of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov «Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan». This heading also provides detailed and illustrated information about the scientific works of national scientists on the study of the medicinal properties of plants growing in the country, about the healing properties of clays, brine and salts of the resorts of the country.
The magazine «Türkmenistanyň lukmançylygy» has been the winner of the contest «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» several times.
