Sanatorium «Bagabat»

The successfully implemented State program "Health", developed under the leadership of Hero Arkadag, has played a huge role in protecting public health. In accordance with international standards and the requirements of the World Health Organization, the material, technical and personnel base of healthcare institutions has been significantly strengthened. Hundreds of modern healthcare facilities and enterprises equipped with the latest technology have been built and serve the people in our white city of Ashgabat, regional and district centers, cities and towns, as well as in rural areas.
Thanks to the attention of Hero Arkadag and Hero Arkadaglу Serdar, along with other areas of the healthcare system, significant transformations have taken place in the sanatorium and resort sector. The physiotherapy department of the sanatorium has rooms for ozone therapy (ozone treatment), acupuncture, aromatherapy (pleasant odor treatment), cryotherapy (cold air treatment), infrared ray bath, dry and steam saunas, Turkish bath, halotherapy rooms (salt and mineral air breathing treatment), capping- therapy (hijama), which consists of making small incisions in the skin and placing vacuum jars on them and drawing blood from capillary vessels, stone therapy (therapeutic massage with hot stones), aquamassage, therapeutic massage, which creates an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality spa treatment to vacationers.
Treatment and rehabilitation work with citizens is carried out by a highly qualified physiotherapist of the department.
In addition to medical rooms, the sanatorium also provides rooms for recreation and cultural leisure of citizens. There is a 200-seat dining room with a special diet menu specially designed by a nutritionist, a library and a conference room, as well as a phytobar where anyone can experience the unique healing properties of medicinal plants of the Turkmen land.
Based on the recommendations of doctors, vacationers are offered various medicinal teas made from plants described in Hero Arkadag's multi-volume encyclopedic work "Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan".
The green area around the three-storey white marble sanatorium building, which has a unique architectural design, is equipped with walking paths and gazebos, which creates additional conditions for walking and recreation. In addition, the complex has a football field, a basketball court, a tennis court, an outdoor swimming pool, sports fields where patients can have a good time, as well as a cafe.
